Rushi Manche

Blockchain Tech Company Co-Founder

Rushi Manche co-founded a blockchain technology company that developed the first modular blockchain network built to integrate performance, liquidity, and composability. In his early twenties, he and his partner decided to leave their internships and withdraw from Vanderbilt University to fully focus on building their company. Their bold step led to raising $3.4 million in pre-seed funding from over 25 angel investors. With this early support, they expanded their team to over 70 members and began developing a platform centered on scalability, security, and ease of use for developers.

In 2023, just one year after the company's launch, they secured a $38 million Series A funding round. The round included investment from several well-known venture capital firms, including Hack VC, Placeholder, Archetype, Maven 11, Robot Ventures, Figment Capital, Nomad Capital, Bankless Ventures, OKX Ventures, dao5, and Aptos Labs. His role was pivotal in shaping the vision and technical architecture of a blockchain network that emphasized cross-chain functionality and user trust.

Rushi Manche focused on solving real-world problems in the blockchain space, including system fragmentation, low scalability, and security risks. He believed blockchain programming offered a cleaner and more efficient solution compared to outdated systems. The platform was built to allow developers to create secure applications that can operate across multiple blockchain networks while minimizing risk to users.

The modular framework divided the blockchain into separate layers, each responsible for specific tasks. This approach improved flexibility, performance, and upgradeability. The system incorporated a programming language developed by a major tech company to build a faster, safer Ethereum layer-2 network. A token was also launched to support the infrastructure and provide utility within the ecosystem.

Before launching the company, he worked at Aptos Project as a Software Engineer, where he contributed to the development of decentralized exchanges and cross-chain financial protocols. He also founded Ensemble, an AI-powered test prep service that partnered with 53 high schools to provide students with free access to academic resources.

At UnitedHealth Group, he migrated seven APIs from on-premises systems to AWS cloud infrastructure, resulting in an 84% reduction in costs. He also transitioned backend services from ElasticSearch and OpenShift to AWS S3, OpenSearch, and Elastic Kubernetes Service to support scalability and multi-region deployment. As a freelance Full-Stack Developer, he modernized an online platform by updating both frontend and backend technologies and implementing AWS tools to improve performance.

He holds a Seal of Biliteracy in French and has completed numerous Udemy certifications in areas such as blockchain development, machine learning, complete stack web programming, and natural language processing.

His achievements have earned him multiple honors. In 2021, he received the Ingram Scholarship at Vanderbilt University, awarded for both academic merit and public service. He was awarded the Burger King McLamore Scholarship and was named a semifinalist for both the Elks National Foundation and Coca-Cola Scholarships. He earned National AP Scholar recognition for his academic success in Advanced Placement exams.

He also received the Certified Young Investment Analyst designation and was named the champion of the New Jersey State Stock Pitch Competition, sponsored by the Young Investors Society. He placed in the top three percent in the Diamond Challenge Entrepreneurship Competition, where he presented an app focused on reducing food waste. In 2020, he received the New Jersey State Governor’s Jefferson Award for public service, and he was selected as a finalist in the Seton Hall Pirates Pitch Business Plan Competition for a project aimed at addressing educational inequality.

He and his family have supported charitable healthcare projects in India for over a decade. During high school, he volunteered regularly with organizations, including UNICEF and the Samaritan Homeless Interim Program.

Born in Springfield, Illinois, Rushi Manche enjoys basketball, traveling, and spending time in nature.
